Add SAROO full region support Add game cover display, the program will automatically match the mirror game ID in the TF card, players don’t need to take any action, in cover mode, press the square key to switch the cover display layer.
The Japanese cover is 128×128.
European cover is 128×192.

Add support for burned disks
In SAROO main interface or return to 9-ball interface from SAROO, you can read the burned SS game disc (full region support, no need PSEUDO, the console without modification can directly run the burned disc in the disc loading, SAROO can only be used as a 1/4m memory expansion card and memory card use)

In CD loading, SAROO’s own backup memory is used by default, if you want to use the console backup, you can start the game by pressing the C key in the 9-ball interface (SAROO can also load the game in this way to enter the 9-ball interface first and then press the C key to operate), in addition, SAROO’s default external memory card will always be in effect

In SAROO main interface, in the item of “loading game disk”, press C key will also use the console backup memory, not use SAROO backup memory, and SAROO default external memory card will always exist.

Reccomend Reading:

If your saturn console has not been used for a long time, please power off and then wipe the card slot with alcohol or rust remover, then insert the SAROO into the slot and try plugging and unplugging it a few times before powering it on again.
1)Prohibit hot-swapping when in use.
2)Avoid high or low temperatures and areas that may become wet with water.
3)Avoid gravitational impact or dropping the cartridge.
4)Please wipe the gold-plated contacts of PCB with alcohol before restarting after a long period of storage.
5)SAROO isn’t perfect, development never stops!

When the LEDs don’t work

1)Cannot start the programme because of a file configuration error on the TF card.
2)Poor contact in the slot of the Saturn console.
3)Press the controller too fast and the programme gets stuck.

Operational details:

1)Put the SAROO folder directly in the root directory of the TF card.
2)The gaming mirror must be in BIN+CUE format, and put it in the ISO in the form of a folder In the folder, the name of the folder is the game directory display name.
3)The TF card format requires FAT32 or EXFAT format. If your TF card has been used on other special machines, it may not work on the SAROO even after a simple formatting.
4)You need to make mirror or format conversion, please use the recommended Ultraiso software.
5)TF card needs to reserve some space for backup memory of the cartridge.

When loading the game, there are phenomena such as jamming, crashing, abnormal background sound, etc.:
1)Please re-insert the card. Please insert the SAROO at the bottom and then lift it slightly to the left or right, which is conducive to correct recognition.
2)Game image problem, the file is not placed correctly, please replace the other game version.
3)TF card reading speed is low, replace the TF card with higher speed.
4)Saturn console motherboard is VA0/VA0.5/VA0.8 version, the first generation of motherboard has compatibility problems.
5)Because the Saturn console is so old, it adds a lot of uncertainty.
6)Compatibility issues, we need to wait for a firmware update.
Special note: Metal Slug and Symphony of the Night may appear to run the phenomenon of dropped frames, which has nothing to do with SAROO, this is due to the complexity of the dual-CPU architecture of the Saturn console, the game ported after the optimization of the imperfect reason!

When the game is stuck at the startup screen:
1)There is a problem with the game file.
2)After loading the game image with virtual CD-ROM software (Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%), use Ultraiso software to read the text part of the game in the virtual CD-ROM in BIN+CUE format.
