Conclusion

Atari is offering a great looking console with plenty to give to us retro gamers. The unit has lot more features then i originally expected.  This micro console packs some serious power, Al lot more then the current competition out there

But unlike what Nintendo, Sega and Snk are doing. It seems to me they are in a uncomfortable grey area between both Micro Console and current gen . The price alone is very close to the current gen consoles but not offering as enough content and following. As for a micro console, i would say it has delivered exceptionally well .

But it all come down to the games. Personally for me the Atari was just before my time and the games themselves have never attract me. As for the design of the unit  the original Atrai 2600 is in my personal top best designed home consoles and now that they have have applied this with a modern take is just pretty stunning.

Atari them selves have recently not been in the favour of their followers, with their latest projects. But this a great opportunity for them to bring back the support of the Atari lovers out there.

Comment below on your thought and take on this. Are you looking forward to the Atari VCS.
